Flour City Wins IAHL Sunday Novice Championship

Flour City brought home the IAHL Sunday Novice championship with a thrilling 1-0 overtime victory over Rochester Inferno.

Both teams skated to a scoreless draw after 45 minutes of play in regulation. Inferno was called for a tripping penalty in the early part of the bonus frame, and JP Freel ripped a shot past the goaltender off a pass from the point by Pat Jenkins to win the game on the power play. 

The team's first star award was given to goaltender Frankie Golojuch who had 26 saves in the shut out.
